About
Lindsey J. Boncore is a photographer, artist, and lifelong resident of Central Pennsylvania whose work is shaped by a love of nature, storytelling, and human expression.
Her first loves were books, drawing, and wandering outdoors, none of which has changed much over the years.
A perpetual student of art, nature, and stories, Lindsey has spent nearly two decades working in education while continuing to create and teach as an artist. Alongside teaching in formal settings, including community college, she has also mentored young artists and creative students, experiences that continue to shape the thoughtful, collaborative way she approaches photography today.
Much of Lindsey’s work is rooted in observation and comfort rather than performance. She is drawn to honest expressions, personality, quiet moments, and the small details that make people feel recognizable as themselves. Whether photographing seniors, portraits, or creative sessions centered around identity and self-expression, her goal is never to force someone into a mold, but to create space for authenticity.
If she cannot be found in the studio, she is probably somewhere in the woods, riding a bicycle that is old enough to drink, or hiding with a library book.
She lives with her partner, an opinionated dog, and an introverted cat.
